DSA Mentoring & Consultancy: Practical support for students, strategic solutions for universities.
At DSA Mentoring & Consultancy, we provide specialist support for students and institutions. Our expertise combines Band 4 Autism & ADHD Mentoring, Band 4 SpLD Specialist Support with Inclusive Learning Consultancy, bridging the gap between individual student needs and wider university practice.
We believe in creating environments where all students can thrive — not only by supporting them one-to-one, but also by helping institutions remove systemic barriers
Specialist Mentoring (DSA-Funded)
We offer Band 4 mentoring for Autism and ADHD, fully funded through the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA).
Our mentoring helps students to:
Build strategies for executive function (time management, planning, organisation).
Develop emotional regulation and reduce overwhelm.
Balance academic work with wellbeing and daily life.
Grow in confidence, independence, and resilience.
Students never pay directly — mentoring is fully DSA-funded.
SpLD Specialist Support (DSA-Funded)
Our SpLD service provides one-to-one study skills support for students with dyslexia, dyspraxia (DCD), dyscalculia, and other specific learning difficulties (SpLDs). This support is fully funded through the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and is delivered under Band 4 provision.
What We Do
Deliver targeted one-to-one study skills support — teaching you how to learn rather than teaching subject content.
Equip you with strategies for:
Efficient reading (skimming, scanning, active reading).
Academic writing (planning, structuring essays, referencing).
Effective note-taking and revision techniques.
Time management, organisation, and exam preparation.
Provide personalised support based on your learning profile, aimed at building independence.
Empower you with tools that support academic success well beyond university.
Students never pay directly — mentoring is fully DSA-funded.
Inclusive Learning Consultancy
Alongside mentoring, we provide consultancy for universities, colleges, and organisations to embed inclusive practice.
Our consultancy services include:
Staff workshops & training on Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD inclusion.
Accessibility audits of course materials, assessments, and learning environments.
Policy & compliance guidance in line with the QAA Quality Code and Equality Act 2010.
Curriculum design support based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.
We combine lived mentoring insight with institutional consultancy to deliver practical, research-led solutions.
Consultancy services are commissioned directly by universities and organisations, typically funded from staff development, inclusivity, or widening participation budgets.
